In other words, two cleanings and checkups, fluoride, and perhaps even dental sealants for your child may be paid for by the dental plan at no extra expense for you.

More extensive restorations or treatments like crowns, extraction, and the like typically receive about half the total payment from UnitedHealthcare. The other 50 percent is your responsibility to pay.
